[ OFFICIAL S.H.I.E.L.D. PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE CIRCULATION ]
Last night, an unfortunate incident involving the Hulk occurred during a charity event co-hosted by Tony Stark of Stark Industries and Harry Osborn of Oscorp Industries at the Empire Casino in Queens. As of press time, there have been no reported civilian casualties, and structural damage was successfully minimized by the deployment of a S.H.I.E.L.D. S.T.R.I.K.E. Team that evacuated the premises in cooperation with local NYPD.
“S.H.I.E.L.D.’s commitment to the public’s safety was proven overwhelmingly tonight, with less than fifteen minutes elapsed between the appearance of the Hulk and the arrival of one of our specially-mandated S.T.R.I.K.E. containment teams,” Director Maria Hill stated, referencing the Agency’s efficient effort to neutralize the Hulk and assist in civilian evacuation.
“Our involvement successfully prevented this incident from proving deadly.”
Representatives of the Empire Casino report property damages in the tens of thousands of dollars, and neither Tony Stark nor Harry Osborn could be reached for comment.
